System Analyst - Oracle Applications

VisionStream requires a System Analyst to be rsponsible for implementation of Accounting Modules such as Project costing, Billing in R12; Requirement gathering, solution design, GAP analysis and functional configuration in Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities:

  • identify gaps in business process flows, initiate and conduct review meetings to resolve gaps in business process flows
  • implementation, support, upgrade and enhance 11 and R 12 versions
  • functional design and rollout of integration of Oracle EBS with boundary applications like concur, SAM and Maximo
  • modify/configure SLA for projects modules; Unit Testing, CRP, UAT and End User training sessions

    Experienced Senior Oracle DBA

    VisionStream is looking for a highly experienced Sr. Oracle DBA with at least 10 yrs of technical experience and background in designing and implementing Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, Oracle Business Intelligence, and Service Oriented architecture solutions.

    Scope of responsibilities include:

    • Provide direction for technologies such as Oracle Database, Oracle Applications, Oracle Business Intelligence, and Service Oriented architecture solutions.
    • Perform database administration functions, including installing, configuring, maintaining, performance tuning and troubleshooting databases on various platforms.
    • Support Financials development teams on on-going projects to ensure that development effort meets standards. This includes but not limited to access and change control related procedures.
    • Architect and implement disaster recovery systems and perform regular system backups to protect integrity of financial and other data in order for systems to have 100% availability.
    • Write scripts in Perl/Shell/SQL to automate maintenance tasks such as clones, monitoring, backups etc.
    • Install, maintain & setup Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) monitoring framework.
    • Review and research new system features and make recommendations on project undertakings.
    • Be available 24x7 for production on-call, participate in on-call rotation and weekend maintenance work.

    • Monitor system performance and provide recommendation to the development team.

    Qualifications include:

    • B.A/B.S or higher in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience (Masters preferred).
    • Oracle E-Business Suite (R12) installation/patch/upgrade/administration background.
    • 8+ years working experience supporting Oracle E-Business Suite environment, 6+ years DBA experience.
    • 3+ years of Experience with Application Server/fusion middleware technologies such as Service Oriented Architecture (Oracle SOA), Apache and WebLogic Server.
    • Managing large volume databases for both OLTP and OLAP environment.
    • Experience with Core Oracle database Installation/patch/upgrade/administration.
    • Experience with Webogic/fusion Middleware
    • Experience using RMAN for backups and recovery
